ABOUT ME

At Bodolina, everything revolves around knitting
I, Astrid, have had a passion for knitting since I was a child. My mother taught me knitting and other needlework techniques at an early age.
In 2013, I went through a difficult time when my husband fell seriously ill. To deal with the emotional stress, I rediscovered knitting as a kind of therapeutic outlet.
Over time, I not only developed different types of needle bags, but also the idea of my own manufactory.
What started out as a personal sanctuary has grown into a creative oasis where I can let off steam as much as I like.
How it all began
Finding the right knitting needle in the box we all know can be a real challenge, especially if it bothers someone. I know this problem only too well.
During his illness, my husband was always very annoyed by the clutter in the box and asked me to finally come up with SOMETHING . And I came up with something. That’s how my first Needlebag was born. At that time I was still working independently as an office service.
A tax consultant friend of mine, who also knits, told me to go to a patent attorney immediately. I did so immediately and had the design protected.
The circular knitting needle bag is a protected design, which is registered at the German Patent Office with the
German design application 40 2015 000 207.9.
