Chashmere

This cashmere wool consists of 100% cashmere fibers, is from Mongolia and was spun in Italy. I receive 50 g skeins and dye them with heavy metal-free dyes.

This yarn is incredibly soft, yet not “thick” and incredibly warm.

It is a 6-ply yarn, which means that it consists of 6 thin individual threads that are twisted into a stronger yarn. This gives the yarn both strength and structure while still maintaining a fine texture. Due to its high-quality cashmere composition, the yarn is ideal for luxurious and warming knitting projects. It can be used for a variety of pieces, including sweaters, cardigans, scarves, hats and gloves.

The gauge and needle size may vary depending on the project. As a rule, the yarn is worked with 3.5 mm to 4.5 mm needles to achieve a uniform knitting pattern.

• Stitch gauge: 24 stitches x 33 rows on 10 cm (4 inches) stockinette stitch with 3.5 mm needles
• Yarn count : 6-ply

Care instructions : Hand wash with a suitable wool detergent, ideally below 30 °C. Do not wring out or twist. Dry flat, do not dry in the sun, spin or tumble dry.
