Description. :

Alpaca 4-ply has a yarn density of 3/11 nm and a running length of 367 m (400 yds) per 100 g. It is made from 100% of the finest wool from alpacas, which have been specially bred for their particular fineness. Alpaca is a hollow fiber with excellent insulating properties, which means it retains more heat and is three times warmer than sheep’s wool. Alpaca 4-ply feels smooth and silky and is heavenly to work with.

Alpaca 4-ply is hypoallergenic and lanolin-free, making it ideal for allergy sufferers.

Alpaca 4-ply is particularly suitable for weaving, knitting and crocheting accessories and garments, for example: socks, scarves, shawls, baby clothes, sweaters and cardigans.
